Atrium in the News

Thursday, March 2, 2017

We’re only a few months into 2017, and it’s already been an exciting year for us here at Atrium. With a few new accolades under our belt, it’s never felt better to be a part of our community. Here’s a quick recap of what’s got us excited.

Four Centers Named Best Nursing Homes by U.S. News & World Report

Four of our post acute care centers recently received scores of 4.5 or higher from U.S. News & World Report’s Best Nursing Homes 2016-2017 report: Atrium Post Acute Care of Hamilton, NJ, Lancaster, WI, Oconto Falls, WI and Stevens Point, WI

Only 13 percent of the 15,000+ evaluated nursing homes achieved the “Best” status signified by a rating of 4.5 or better. We’re honored to see our centers recognized on a national scale, and we’re inspired by the work of our team members in each location. Together, they’ve been able to foster a best-in-class approach to rehabilitation.

Rest assured, we’ll continue to uphold these standards through the rest of 2017 and beyond. Here’s to everything our centers and communities have already accomplished, and everything that’s yet to come.

Woodbury Wins the Senior Housing News Architecture and Design Award

There’s a certain attention to detail you’ll notice in every one of our centers and communities. And at Atrium Post Acute Care of Woodbury, it goes all the way down to the foundation.

The Senior Housing News Architecture and Design Award celebrates the nation’s most forward-thinking approaches to senior living design. This year, more than 80 organizations entered the competition. In the category of Best Skilled Nursing/Post Acute, our Woodbury center came away with the honors.

With a number of premium features at patients’ fingertips, Atrium Post Acute Care of Woodbury is locally renowned for its quality of support. From private patient rooms to a state of the art rehabilitation gym, patients rehabilitate in total comfort—and that’s not to mention the movie theater, bistro and pub.
